Western Electronics recently entered a manufacturing agreement with data storage experts Plasmon LMS Inc.

According to a release, Western will help with the GX and G chassis of archival storage libraries for long-term access and preservation of valuable business information. Value of the contract was not disclosed.

Western Electronics was selected as one of Plasmon’s manufacturing partners following an evaluation of Colorado based Contract Electronics Manufacturers by Plasmon.

The Meridian-based Western Electronics has been in business since 1978, although the current Western Electronics was formed in 1999, and currently has two contract manufacturing operations located in Meridian and Westminster, Colo.
