Nursing

The median pay for Nurse Practitioners is about $110,000. Plus, you will work to help improve the lives of your patients, their friends, and family. It’s hard to complain when you know each day you get to work at saving lives and helping people to feel better. Some of the unique requirements to get into nursing include an associates or bachelor’s degree in a nursing program.

You will also need to pass the NCLEX-PN or NCLEX-RN exam. Moreover, nurses are expected to be empathetic, emotionally strong, and effective communicators. If you have all those qualities and are able to pursue the required course of study, then you will be compensated very well.

The accounting industry is expected to grow with over 1.4 million job opportunities by 2022. Due to an increasing number of financial regulations, more businesses have the need to hire one or more accountants to fiscally manage every line of business. In fact, top accountants can make around $115,000 annually. Also, accounting isn’t a job that can be easily outsourced. As long as there are businesses, there will be a need for accountants.

Software and IT Services

We live in a digital world. Eventually, all of our devices will be connected to the Internet and communicating with each other. Most of us have smartphones and use a wide variety of apps to manage our lives or for entertainment. We connect with friends and family via social media. We also advertise online. So, it shouldn’t come as a shock to find impressive salary ranges in software and IT services. As long as we’re using apps and the Internet, we will need programmers, coders, cyber security analysts, and more. In fact, a chief information security officer (CISO) can earn up to $380,000 a year.
