Car rentals at the Salt Lake Airport are available right in the airport’s parking garage though the entire area is under construction right now and the exact location may change. Since parking can be difficult, check before you visit.
Redwood
The majestic trees sitting in the Redwood National and State Parks are a sight to behold, no matter your age. Northern California is home to the several parks that make up what people think of as the Redwoods Park, and visitors flock to this area every year.
Make sure to grab a map at a visitors’ center before hiking to the overlooks and through the canyons. Lodging is available so you can stay immersed in the redwoods your entire stay.
Shoshone Falls
Shoshone Falls is considered the Niagara of the West, and it’s a must-see destination when you visit the west. Located in Twin Falls, Idaho, visitors can zip line across the Snake River Canyon, go spelunking in the Shoshone Ice Caves, or do some skiing if the season is right. The view of the over 200-foot-high falls is breathtaking, and water lovers can kayak or swim while taking in the beauty.
